Darning needle no. 3/9

The short darning needles have a sharp point and a large eye for woollen threads. They are ideal for all types of darning on medium and heavy weight fabrics such as velvet, wool, brocade, woollen cloth, denim, linen, twill or crepe. Pack of 12 needles. Darning consists of making a hole disappear by interlacing threads, which fill the surface by re-weaving the fabric. Our short darning needles have a longer eye, making it easier to thread darning thread (which is thicker) through them. They are ideal for darning wool and cotton. Made in France from nickel-plated steel, these needles go through 27 production stages, guaranteeing an unparalleled glide and an impeccable point.

The numbering corresponds to the size of each needle, with No. 3/0 being the longest and thickest and No. 11 the shortest and thinnest of the series.
