These sharp-pointed embroidery needles from the Japanese brand Clover are ideal for traditional Japanese sashiko - embroidery with running stitches. The needles are made of hardened, nickel-plated steel, have an oval, gold-coloured plated eye and a sharp point. This combination produces a resilient needle that glides smoothly through the fabric without bending or breaking. Of course, these embroidery needles are also suitable for patchwork, appliqué and other detailed sewing work. The longer the needle, the more running stitches can be taken on the needle at once.
