Bohin 's collar stays are plastic strips that are incorporated into the points of the collar.

Shirt stays help keep the collar neat. Their placement in the collar keeps the points of the collar pointed forward or outward.

In some cases, the strips are fixed to the collar. In other cases, they are loose and removable. With stays, the shirt has a more formal look; without stays, the shirt looks more casual.
