The Buttonhole Ruler gives you a quick and accurate measurement to place your buttons and buttonholes on all your garments. Quick and easy to use, it allows you to place 8 to 9 buttons with a spacing of 1cm (ruler closed) to 8.7cm (ruler unfolded).

Instructions for use: Place the buttonhole ruler on your garment. Extend it to the desired length for a perfectly even and precise distance. An extendable sewing ruler to mark all your places. Marking the position of your buttons, buttonholes, hooks, eyes and even snaps will no longer hold any secrets for you. Mark the position of the buttons and buttonholes with chalk or a washable marker using the dots and slots of the ruler. With metric markings you can mark the ideal lengths. Mark your pleats and gathers with the buttonhole ruler. When making pleats, smocking, skirt and dress pleats, stretch the stretch gauge to the desired distance between the pleats. Stretch the buttonhole ruler so that each stitch is exactly a certain distance apart. Use sewing chalk or a washable fabric marker to mark the seam line. This ruler is also useful for quilting thanks to its geometric aspect. You can use a piece of tape to block off the distance between the ruler and define all of your sewing lines.
